#1 The internet never forgets! ;)

#19 Yup, circa 100 years ago! LOL

#26 I didn't know that, I always assumed if any state did it was California.

I have absolutely no knowledge of your constitutional matters but I do recall there was a movement in the 80's (I think it was the 80's, possibly the 90's?) that was pushing for Californian secession.. I assumed there was a legal basis for that but i live and learn. :)

Sigh, Took a break from the NFL and took out my car on a local walking path. Most of it is gone but we had some snow over the past couple of days. The car is a blast on snow/ice but I got soaked... :( I kind of sort of ran off the path into some water. The bank was a little steep and I kept sliding down... ;) Seems that the electronics being water proof is true. When I got back on the path the thing just took off like nothing had happened.

Even getting a bit damp I had a blast! Got home and threw the car in my kitchen sink to hose off all the crud. After hosing I sprayed it down with water displacing WD-40 oil and it is sitting on a towel to dry. Even though it got soaked it seems fine. Apparently the promotion about it being just about unbreakable is true.

I won't normally take it out in conditions like today but, just like a computer, you have to stress test things. LOL! Actually it was sort of cool watching the car throwing out a rooster tail of snow. Don't get me wrong. I'm not talking about plowing through a foot of snow. We got about an inch or inch and a half with some ice, nothing major. It was still a blast! :)

I know all this sounds silly but it is not. I'm retired and part of that is a promise to myself that I will have fun. Granted that I cursed a few times in language I won't post here but I had a blast of a great time. Sometimes recovering from messing up is the best time of all... ;)

Glad you're enjoying your retirement Jay, so you should, what's the point of having all that time to yourself if you don't do something that makes you happy.

It does sound as if you had a fun time running your machine. :rofl2:

LOL! It was hilarious Joan. I'm sure that I would have made it eventually but I was having a heck of a time trying to get up the incline while holding the car. From the wet and snow it was very slick. A pretty young lady out for a run stopped and took the car so I could get up the incline. See that... there is always a good side as I got to chat with a pretty young lady.

Joan, I just enjoy life. I never have a bad day as I refuse to do so. Every day is wonderful due to the simple fact that I experience something new. The only difference between a good and bad day is attitude. My attitude refuses to allow a bad day. :) Honestly it is that simple for me. I just flatly refuse to have anything but good days... It is a matter of choice. My choice is for my every day to be good. :)
