Oh well, since I was basically hoping for a split in the series I can't gripe too much about the Tribe getting crushed Wednesday.

Hey Chas, Since you are a Yankee fan are you pulling for the Dodgers or Red Sox?
Sigh, My Browns just cannot seem to turn the corner. They lost today by three on a 59 yard field goal in overtime. BTW, that is their fourth overtime in seven games...

It's against my religion to support the Red Sox. I think they will win though You're Browns will do just fine. Baby steps, Jay Baby steps

I also think that the Sox will win the series. I picked them before the playoffs started so I guess that I have to stick with my guns. I actually picked the Sox and Brewers to be in the series. LOL! At least I was half right. With the Sox and Brewers playing I don't know that I really care who wins. I just hope that it is a good and competitive series. Sigh, The Browns... I just cannot fathom some of the things they do. Yes, I understand that they went way beyond reason to support Josh Gordon but then, when he seems to possibly have his head straight, they dump him. He will probably be a super star with New England. Then you trade Hyde for a fifth round pick? Before that you trade West for a seventh round pick? These moves just make no sense to me. Not really sure how I feel about this but, apparently, the word around Cleveland is that Hugh Jackson will not make it through the season. With a record of 3-44-1 over three years Hugh being gone would not be a surprise. I'm not saying that I think it would be the right move, just the probable move.

Chas, myself being a Tribe fan, I don't like Boston either but have to consider that they now have an extreme advantage over the Dodgers with winning the first two games.
Of course anything can happen but the odds would say it not very likely that the Dodgers will sweep all three games in LA. They go back to Boston for the last two even up just 3-2 I have to give the advantage to the Sox. Would you agree?

Hi Jay I agree with you. The Sox have a big advantage. They really hit well with 2-outs and RISP. Even the weather helped. Games in LA should be interesting.

Well Chas... After game three who is left to pitch on Saturday??? If I'm correct LA used every pitcher and Boston used all but one. The thing that I consider more amazing than the game going eighteen innings is that, considering both offenses, there was only a total of five runs scored.
