We had our first snow of the season Thursday night and I thought I'd share. I thought it sort of cool the reflections the falling snow threw from my flash. Attachment:

Ya it was a little early but not all that unusual. Remember that I'm at 3700 feet altitude. The snow is already melted and gone. Here is another shot that I took after the sun was up. LOL! For an apartment I have a pretty decent 'back yard'. I'm happy to say that the 'back yard' should remain as is as it is part of a nature center. Attachment:

It looks nice but not looking forward to it over here. It means we're into cold weather and I don't like the cold. Was it much earlier than usual Jay?

Ah, I forgot the altitude you were at. The photos do look beautiful.

My camera helps a lot as to the photos. It is one of the differences between a good camera and cheap or a phone. With a lower quality camera snow tends to have a blue tint; they just don't handle 'white balance' well.

Nice photos, Jay. I love to watch falling snow. We get some snow in Arkansas, but not as much as you at 3700 ft. I think my elevation is about 850 ft. Please keep those snow pictures coming throughout the winter...
