Supposedly subliminal messages in advertising are not allowed but if this isn't a case of it, it sure comes close. ;)

This is the front end of a Bronco. Note the shape of the running light. It is the power symbol that you will see on the on/off button on any electronic device. On a subliminal level it is suggesting that the vehicle is powerful. ;) No, I don't really think it qualifies as subliminal advertising but it sure is suggestive. ;)

I was curious about this and looked up a quick definition of subliminal messages.

Actually 'in your face' can still be subliminal. Personally, while I like the lights, I think it may well qualify as subliminal.

Most think of it as quick image flashes and such but it is really anything that makes the audience subconsciously think of something else. The part that would apply to the headlights is...
