I am in the market for a comfortable chair to use while I am sitting at my computer. I'm willing to pay some bucks for a quality chair with nice features. Several have caught my eye, but there are so many out there that it gets confusing.

So I thought at this point I would ask for recommendations. If you have a comfortable favorite, please provide me with make and model. Thanks much...

Sort of hard for me to recommend as my chair has been my couch for over 10 years. Even if I did use a specific chair my best could be your worst. Best advice I can give is to go to a store and try sitting in some.

Jay, I don't get around too well these days; except for groceries, most of my shopping is done online. So before I researched what to order, I thought I would ask some friends/members for a recommendation. I understand that you use your couch.

That's a hard one -- especially when ordering online. I have been using the Herman Miller Aeron chair for quite a few years and it's been good. I like the adjustability, the lumbar support and the high back, but I'm not fond of the armrests. I ended up buying a 3rd party head rest for it and a padded seat cover. I'm sure that there are better choices out there, but it's hard to know what will be the most comfortable for your body.
