We've discussed this topic recently. Ran across this new post by Ed Bott on the subject. Fairly simple.

Thanks Patty. I didn't realize that creating a Windows 10 Recovery disk allowed the inclusion of system files, must have missed the prompt when I created my recovery. I'll have to remember to look at that the next time I boot my laptop. I wonder if the feature was always there or added via an update. I made my recovery disk when I first installed 10 last July.

When I made my Win 10 recovery drive. I used a new USB 3.0 32gig flash drive plugged into a USB 3.0 port. It still took a very long time. The flash drive ended up with 15 +gigs on it. Now in a safe place.
The machine was new.

If I remember correctly I just made a DVD that contained the full OS using the Creation Tool when I was in the Insider Program. Of course that would need a few updates to bring it up to date if I used it, I've not got round to making another one I just keep making full images on a weekly basis to an external drive.
