Sigh, sometimes I amaze myself. :rofl2:

I opened up my second system to add an internal 2 TB drive for doing internal system images so I can cut the images going to my NAS drive to once a week.

So I put it back together and plug in and power up. I leave the room and come back to a totally blank screen. I'm like oh Lordy what did I do until I notice that the TV/monitor is switched off. Totally amazing how turning on the monitor fixed all the video issues. :rofl2:

It is rather funny Steve. ;) I just never thought about the monitor as I never turned it off. It timed out and turned itself off due to no input.

Reminds me of a case when I lived in Texas. I set up a system in a client's/friend's machine shop to store and deliver programs to his computer controlled machines (CNC). He called me one time saying they had lost the monitor display. I gave him a check list and said to call back. His people went through the list and reported there was still no display so I did a service call with a minimum of $50.00 payment. I turned on the monitor and the issue was solved. Yes, making sure that the monitor was on was part of the check list. Since he was a friend along with being a client I told him that I could not justify charging him for turning on the monitor. He insisted on paying saying that it was not my fault that his people were idiots. ;)
