Im having problems with my graphics card and wish to replace it with Nvidia GT610. I have to disable the integrated graphics. Will it be sufficient to either disable it or uninstall it via the Device Manager?, or do I have to go into the bios which I don't know how. Thanks Jim

While I would disable in the BIOS it were my system just doing so in Device Manager should suffice. The real only difference should be that if just disabled in Device Manager it will still take some system resources while if disabled in the BIOS it will not.

What if I click "uninstall" in device manager instead of "disable"? Since I don't know how to do it thru the "bios".

It will just re-install. You should be OK disabling in Device Manager. With it disabled the draw on system resources should not be much.
If you happen to decide that you want to disable in your BIOS we can probably lead you through. That is assuming that it can be disabled in the BIOS. While it usually can be that is not always the case.

Jay: I went to hp's site and downloaded the instructions for deleting in the bios. My only question now is, do I delete it 1st or after I install the new card? or doesnt it matter.

Better install the new card first.

Yes, definitely install the new card first! You are welcome. When you disable the old video you may or may not notice that you have more system memory. Most likely the old video was using system memory. When disabled in the BIOS it may or may not release this memory.
