I'm just curious as to if my logic is sound. The last batch of drives I bought, 2 6TB and 1 4TB, are all NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives.

I paid a few more dollars than if I did not get NAS drives but not much. My thinking is that a drive designed for network access is likely to be a bit more durable than a regular drive and MAY last longer.

Is my thinking viable?

That's the claim about NAS drives. They typically are rated for more read/write cycles, power on hours, and may even have a longer warranty.
