Anyone else using Firefox here, I can't get spelling to work in it. If I'm using Edge I have no problems and if I'm in a forum and answering posts or such it will underline a word if I've not spelt it correctly or in some occasions just change the word to the correct one. When I'm using Firefox even though I have my preference set to check the spelling as I'm typing nothing happens and there are times I know the word is wrong but it would just let me carry on and post or whatever and show the wrong word. What I'm doing at the moment is if I think I have a wrong word is copy it and paste it into my free copy of WordWeb, the only trouble with that is if I've misspelled a word sometimes it can be hard to pick what the correct spelling is. Anyone out there using Firefox point me in the right direction please. |

Something to try In Firefox Go to Options then Advanced then General. Look under Browsing and make sure "Check my spelling as I type" is checked |

I'll check it again Chas but as I said I have my preferences set to check my spelling as I type but there's no harm having a look again. Edit: Just checked and it was already checked. |

Joan, I don't use Firefox, but I read where some users didn't have the correct dictionary installed and selected. Specifically, here's what one user said: You can always see if spell check is enabled to the right language by right clicking in any input box. "Check Spelling" should be checked and there should be a "Languages" submenu which shows which dictionary is currently selected. |
