Just have to test posting and editing features. Shoot, I've done setups with this software so many times I know it's going to work but still find the need to test. Besides, had to get rid of the initial example post the install throws up.

How wonderful to have the CH logo back, I've missed that. I wont know till I've posted this whether or not I've got to found a new Avatar or not. Welcome home everyone. Joan Yes I've got to do my Avatar, not sure whether to find my cat or just put my own face there, but could you stand the shock.

Okay, I did the siggy and profile, now I have to add an avatar. Perhaps I'll try a different one this time.

GG, the issue you have with your siggy not being blue is due to it's being a link. If you put a link within a color code it will not work as the default link color will prevail. To do what you want you have to nest the color tag within the URL tag such as the following code example. Code: [url=http://jaylach.com][color=#0040FF]site portal[/color][/url] will result in: site portal

Just wanted echo Manny's sentiment. Outstanding job on the "Haven Makeover". It looks great. Now some questions. 1. Are we all typing with the same font? 2. How do you establish your "friends" list for personal messages? I'm probably just missing where to look for the friends invite. Thanks

Hi Terry! Nice to see you made it.
On the Friends thing, go to your User Control Panel. On the left side under Options you will see a link for Friends and Foes. Click on that. I think it will be obvious from there.
Yes, we are all using the same font. You can only change the size, or style such as Italic or Bold.

Thanks for the welcome Patty. I'll check the UCP out more closely. So far everything looks pretty simple. So the forum gets a makeover and you finally let your hair down to relax. Very good. Nice going fearless leader.

LOL Thank you, Terry. This is what I wanted the forum to look like all along - I just couldn't do it with the software package that we were using. To be truthful, I couldn't do it with any software package, but Jay can! Mine is the vision, Jay did all the work.

Hi Patty and everyone else,
The "new" Computer Haven looks great. I had to re register but all is well and it is good to see the site has its own look back.

It is so much fun watching all the kids having fun re-learning. Nice to see familiar faces. Jay, I don't know how you do it. Many people do not realize just how many sites you work on.
