I had a problem with this program, Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 because some of other program which need this program to run but had a problem with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015. My operating system is Windows 10 Home Premium 64X. I was wondering if I have to uninstall all of Microsoft Visual Studio between 2005 and 2015 first then install again between 2005 and 2015. I did try with repair Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 first and did not work after repair. I was going to uninstall this but rather ask first before I make a mess with this program. So what do I have to do with this?

John

Did you install an older version of Visual Studio and upgrade over time on this PC, and most recently to 2015?

Did you install Visual Studio as a developer to write programs/code? Or?

No I didn't install Visual Studio as a developer. All I see Visual Studio programs. I will look up each install of Visual Studio later as I am not near the computer.

Thanks,

John

I think you actually see Microsoft Visual C ++ 2005 Redistributable (and additional versions with different years) as well as some updates to same. These are installed to support programs you installed. On my PC the only program identified with Microsoft Visual Studio is Microsoft Visual Studio Tools 2010, apparently installed with an Office program or add-on, I suspect, since I never directly installed it of Visual Studio.
