Is the new one also Drive I:?
I think it would be easiest to simply delete the old pair and create a new one, even if it is the same drive letter/path. I suspect SyncToy is looking for it's hidden folder.
Steve, the new one was also Drive I. But I had to end up doing what you suggested.....deleting old pair and creating new one. When I didn't do that, SyncToy only gave me updates since the physical drives had been replaced. It's like SyncToy still thought it was working with the old drive, so only a few files needed to be updated.
Also, a few paths did change because I upgraded to Win 10 in between drive replacement. For example, in Win 7 they were called 'My Documents' and 'My Pictures', but in Win 10 it was 'Documents' and 'Pictures'.
But as we speak, SyncToy is cranking away on my new folder pair, so I'm going to bed..........thanks for your response.
