I've purchased my last three desktops (two for me, one for GG) from an outfit that I have an awful lot of respect for, Puget Systems. On their website they have a section of "Articles". In one of these articles they praise a program called ShutUp10 (as in Shut Up Windows 10, love it!).

https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/support-software/Tweaking-Windows-10-Privacy-Settings-With-ShutUp10-955/

This program lists just about every little thing that you can turn off that Microsoft insists be turned on. This program even lists things that should not be turned off (such as Updates and Defender) and the program warns you about turning them off but they wanted the program to be as complete as possible.

Best of all, this program is free AND NO INSTALLATION IS REQUIRED. Just download it and store it somewhere. This program is from O&O Software: https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10

Enjoy, but remember what you turned off in case in the future you wonder why something isn't working (I keep a running, complete log of every change that I make within Windows on a Word doc).

Thanks. :)

<edit>
I tried it out by creating a System Restore Point then disabling everything that was recommended. After a restart I see no issues.

BTW, the software offers to do a System Restore Point before making the first change. You can use the top menu tabs to do it all at once instead of going through each item.
