I am in the porcess of moving my .pst folder from a computer, that resets with every boot, to another computer. Both computers are W10 (AMD).
Once the new computer was set up I imported the .pst file from the errant computer, but a very interesting thing happened: I have two account in OL, one is a MS account and one is my day to day IMAP account. When the emails were imported, some of the folder  went into one account and some to the other making for a very strange looking listing of folders. I am in the process of moving them, one folder at a time from the MS account to the IMAP account where they belong. My goal is get this done so I can rewrite the rules again as for some reason the rules are clobbered.
Did I do something wrong? Is there an easier way to get this straightened out.

Probably didn't do anything wrong. When I did a clean install on a new computer I had to monkey with Outlook too. I had used regular Outlook for years and that's what my .pst was created in. Been using 365 for a couple of years now and it made me move things around inside Outlook 365 after import of the .pst. I still use POP for my email accounts so that may have been something to it.

Thanks, I will continue to move the folders around.
