You Tube has become loaded with so many ads lately and I would like to know if there is a safe "add blocker" that can be downloaded or even a safe ad blocker program that can be bought that will eliminate all these unwanted ads?

This browser extension works to block many ads and allows you to whitelist channels that you want to allow ads to play on:

Note that you will often be prompted to allow ads on web sites, particularly news sites that don't require subscriptions to access articles as ads are what support them.
