Acadia, I'm not sure, but ...

Thanks BB. But your suggestions check out OK.
Acadia, I don't really know what this means. When you say "check out OK", do you mean that solved your problem?

This is a brand new system here, tons of storage space everywhere. But please anymore ideas, lay them on me.
Any more ideas for what? What are you now trying to do?

BTW, your love affair with your brand new system and Win 10 has just begun. So take a deep breath, sit back, and enjoy.

Ok, interesting stuff.

First BB, no I did not solve my problem until maybe this morning by simply being patient. dvair stated (thank you dvair) that it took 13 minutes to clean up 2.88 GB of that Windows Update stuff. Well this time I just started the cleanup process (for 2.70 GB of stuff), walked away and let it run. After about 20 minutes it was cleaned up (on Win7 it took 15-30 seconds, but I don't remember for how much stuff). "Any more ideas" meant for just that particular problem, I could have worded it better.

So that problem is solved as long as I can remain patient. Awaiting the next problem, if any. :nbite:
