The Windows 7 start button icon is too large and when I use Paint Shop Pro 7, you cannot see the location numbers fully when trying to copy from one image to another. See image below.

Is there a way to make that icon smaller or make the black tool bar wider so these numbers can be seen fully?

With the Start Orb extending above the taskbar I assume that you have the properties of the task bar set to use small icons. If you right click on an empty section of the task bar and select properties you will likely find the option to use small icons selected, just uncheck and apply. This SHOULD solve your issue but will leave you with a larger task bar.

Another option would be to go to the same task bar properties settings and select to 'auto hide'. This will leave your task bar as it is but, when not in use, the task bar will not show. This has the advantage of adding a little screen space for applications. This is what I do. You just put the mouse pointer at the very bottom of the screen to bring it up.

Both of those options work for me Jay, I will have to try them out for a bit and see which I like the best. Thanks so much for your expertise.
