I keep getting a message that I have 14 updates and when I click on it, it opens a window that says "downloading updates" and it has a progress bar below that shows the percentage downloaded. Then nothing ever happens. I have left that window open for over and hour and there is no progress. So, has MS stopped their updates? or is something broken?

from what I've seen on Wilders you aren't alone. Just wait a day or so and try again, and eventually it will probably succeed.

:) I waited until 5 am (EST) this morning to download and install. 9 updates.
It took 6 mins from start to restart. Not bad.

I tried it several more times and eventually it worked. It took over half an hour and seemed very sluggish at first but appears to be ok now.
