Hello and good to be back here again after being absent from this forum. OK I have no idea what happen with my Windows Live Mail 2011 in Windows 7. All email messages that I got only with two attachments or whatever it is? Here is below with one message look like below that I have:
ATT00070.txt
ATT00072.htm ( with Firefox logo icon ) on this
How do I recover this back to normal not show again with those two above in my e-mail messages.
Your help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
John P. Mackay

Do each of the messages also have text in the body of the email? It appears that messages sent as HTML (rich text) are not being displayed by Windows Live Mail. Since the htm attachment shows the Firefox logo, I'm assuming that you have set Firefox as your default web browser. Try setting Internet Explorer as your default web browser and see if that resolves it. -steve

As your suggestion I set Internet Explorer as my default web browser and did not resolve this. The same thing with one with txt and other with htm. exactly like Firefox.
Not sure what next with this?

You could try moving your mail store, or copying it, to another location to keep it safe then uninstalling Live Mail 2011 and doing a reinstall. You could also try going to Live Mail 2012. Personally I liked 2011 more but found myself starting to have minor issues which going to 2012 solved.

John Did some research this morning. This appears to be the result of an overloaded Temporary Internet Files location. See the answer from Noel (Firedog) here: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... e886b65675Another user with the problem used a rather aggressive solution -- he created a new Windows User account and copied his documents and files from the old account to the new, including the Windows Live Mail message store. Clearing the Temporary Internet Files would have resolved it, according to Noel. -steve
