I am currently using Macrium Reflect-Home, v6.3.1849. I get a notification in the Win 10 Action Center every time Macrium starts or completes a backup. I don't want all these notifications but can't figure out how to turn them off. Macrium is not listed as one of the senders under Notifications in the Win 10 Settings.

Is there a way to turn these notifications off? Thanks in advance...

Pete will probably be the one to answer as I don't use Macrium but I'd be looking within the Macrium settings instead of windows settings for the notifications.

As to Windows settings for the notifications there is one thing that I see as possible. Action Center MAY actually have the ability to turn off but Macrium is probably only going to show when a notification is active.

Sorry that I can't be of any real help... :(

I did look there but things are not as they described, so maybe Pete will have an idea.

But you did hit upon something that might explain what's going on. It might indeed be that Windows settings works only if a Macrium backup is ongoing, so I will have to check that out during the next backup.

Thanks Jay.....

Looked at Macrium setting. Go to settings and on the horizontal settings and look at events, and see if there is something there you can uncheck

Pete, I am running Win 10 Pro, which has an Action Center where programs can post notifications. The icon that alerts me to a program posting is down on the task bar, all the way to the right of the clock & date. If I click on this icon, I can then read the notification.

Macrium will post notifications when:
- A backup has been completed
- A backup is underway

I know I can ignore this notifications, but I had rather that they not even appear. Using Win 10 settings, I can turn these notifications off for most programs, but not for Macrium.

Thus my dilemma.....how to turn these off?

Pete, I didn't see anything there.

I tried what I thought might work, and it didn't. Only two suggestions left. 1) post on wilders and ask there, and 2) post on Macrium support forum, you might get an answer there.

I personally don't find them bother some.

Pete, I might have fixed the problem. I had two notifications this morning, and while they were still on my Action Center screen, I clicked on one and saw the option to discontinue such notifications. I selected to do so....now I will just have to wait and see if that worked.

Thanks for your help.
