As there is another thread in the Fun Stuff section of these forums dealing with a mouse pointer I thought that I'd throw this out.
http://jaylach.com/downloads/cursors.zip
The .ZIP file is just a small collection of mouse pointers, just four packages. Three of the packages are full pointer sets and one, the ones made with *Blender, is just a REALLY nice normal pointer. Patty you may actually like this one. It has two versions, silver and gold. While it has nothing to do with Star Trek it still reminds me of the same. It rotates on the longer axis.

Mouse pointers can make a system reflect what you like almost as much as your desktop wallpapers.

Do you use any custom mouse pointers that you would like to share? If so zip them up and email to me. I will put them up on my hosting and post download links so others can try them out.

*Since I mentioned Blender I should supply a link.

Blender is totally free and Open Source. It is a 3D rendering package that rivals most that cost several hundreds of dollars. As an example the following is NOT a photo. It is rendered through Blender. Blender also does full animation. I've never spent the time to do much but this is an awesome package that does just about everything.

Jay, I'm impressed with Blender1.jpg, even though I don't know/understand much about rendering.

I like your idea of sharing custom mouse pointers, although I have nothing yet to share. Because I find little raccoons so darn cute, I want to create a coon tail cursor from one of my many photos. Nothing fancy to start with.....just a static cursor to replace my current arrow cursor. Maybe later some animation?
