I made a colorful email in Outlook (program) and then sent it to my outlook.com address to forward to the intended party. All of the symbols are altered in email, so it loses its charm and meaning.
Most of the symbols (arrows, circles, diamonds, sunshine, moon, etc.) change into letters or letters with marks. Can I add special characters - and symbols - to outlook.com even though it's not a usual email option? I have a mass of symbols in Start - all Programs, but I used Insert symbols in Outlook (program), which I often do.
I know it would be easy to send from Outlook (program), but then convincing the recipient to forget Outlook address then becomes more tedious than it should be - I never mix business and personal unless I have no choice.
Thank you.

The issue is with the fonts available by the reader, in this case Outlook.com. I haven't tested this, but it would appear that the symbol font set(s) you used is(are) not supported by Outlook.com. If you open the same message in an email program on a machine that has the same fonts installed, the symbols will display. Otherwise, an unexpected character will be used from the display font. -steve

Makes perfect sense.
Too bad it's unsolvable. Somebody also pointed out that even if I sent it with fonts intact, chances that the reader will be able to see the same as I see then get even slimmer.
Thank you.

If you ever figure out how viewing fonts makes you slimmer, let me know.
